IRC architechture provides a hierarchical architechture for its management. There are several roles related to the management of an IRC community. The roles includes (in a descending list) Network Administrators, Service Administrators, IRC Operators, Channel Founders, Channel Administrators, Channel Operators, Channel Half-Operators, Voiced Users and Normal Users. Each of these roles have their own expected level of responsibilities and control.
