The Internet and computer technology have grown in a more rapid way that it was once a few years ago. More and more people have started to utilize the technologies for their benefit. They use the technologies and adjusted it to their needs in search of a much better way to communicate to increase productivity. They are more open to changes and believe that the technologies, in some way or another will be able to benefit them if the technologies are utilized to its full potential.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) are well known in the knowledge-based Internet cultures the place where everything started. These Universities utilization of technologies to the fullest, encouragement of research and development, and their openness to new ideas made them as respectable entities in both education, and also in the Internet cultures.

In UTP, and to some extend, in Malaysia, these technologies are underutilized. Some of these technologies even have a bad reputation among us. The media and our traditional way of thinking in some way on another made these potential to be neglected and wasted. It might be because the fear of unknown, or we are afraid to change, or might be because we refused to release ourselves from our old way of thinking and embrace the future. People from all around the world are going faster and faster. Do we want to left behind because we refused to release ourselves from our old ways?. I know I don't.

In this document, I will describe several technologies which can be used to encourage more communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between UTP students, lecturers, researchers, and perhaps, even staff and management. Namely TODO
